Terms
Last updated 12 October 2026
The terms for using crushedwithit, its plans and its reloads. Apple's standard licence agreement covers the app download. These terms cover the service around it.
Who
crushedwithit is made and run by Getconvi Technologies Private Limited, a company in India (founder and director: Sachin Uppal) ("we", "us"). By using the app or its online features you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You must be 18 or over to use crushedwithit.
The app licence
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ about the app itself, Apple's agreement wins. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to support it.
Plans
There are three monthly subscriptions, bought through the App Store. One subscription covers iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
- Writer: the interview, sets with the reasoning behind every line, audio notes, the prompter, flashcards and Stage mode.
- Stage: everything in Writer, plus the room features (live show analysis, the voice run and coaching), your double and reels, and a larger monthly balance.
- Ultra: everything in Stage, with a still larger monthly balance for making reels.
Prices are set per country by Apple, in your currency. You see them in the app before you buy and on the pricing page, which reads them from App Store Connect. The App Store confirms the price at checkout.
Free trial
Writer and Stage come with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Ultra has no free trial. Apple decides eligibility: one introductory offer per Apple Account for this app's subscriptions. The trial includes a smaller allowance for writing help. It does not include building a double or making reels, which start with a paid Stage or Ultra subscription. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription and you are charged.
Auto-renewal and cancelling
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically every month at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage or cancel a subscription in your device's Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or from You › Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. If Apple refunds a purchase, the plan or credit it paid for is removed.
Monthly balance
Each plan includes a monthly balance of credits, shown in the app. Writing help and reels draw on the same balance, by what each one actually costs. One credit is one cent of that measured cost. A reel shows its price before you confirm it. The balance resets each month, and unused monthly balance does not carry over. When it runs out, writing help and reels pause until the next month or until you add a reload. Nothing you have made is affected.
Reloads
- Reloads are consumable in-app purchases in three sizes: small, medium and large. Each adds credits to your balance. The app shows the credits you received after the purchase.
- Reload credit never expires. It is spent only after the month's own balance is used up, and the oldest reload is spent first.
- Reload credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or withdrawn. Using it for writing help or reels needs an active subscription or trial.
- Delete everything removes your reload balance with the rest of your data, and the app shows you the amount first.
Never locked out
If your subscription lapses, everything you have made stays on your device and stays usable. Reading, editing, exporting, Stage mode and flashcards keep working. Only the features that cost us money each time you use them pause: writing help, room analysis and coaching, reels and hosted links.
Your material
- Everything you write, record and perform is yours. We claim no ownership of it.
- You give us permission to store, process and send your material only as needed to run the features you use, as described in the privacy policy. That includes passing text to Anthropic for writing help and passing your double's clip and reel inputs to BytePlus or Higgsfield for rendering.
- You are responsible for what you record. Recording people may need their consent, or be restricted where you are. The app reminds you, and the decision is yours.
Writing help
Writing help is produced by an AI model (Anthropic's). Its output may be wrong, unoriginal, similar to existing material, or unsuitable for a room. Every line shows its reasoning so you can judge it, but the judgement is yours. Check anything before you perform or publish it. You may use, edit, perform and publish the lines it writes for you. We make no claim on them and give no promise that they are original, funny or safe to perform. Writing help may be paused, limited or changed at any time.
Your double, reels and synthetic media
Your double is an AI-generated likeness of you. Its reels are synthetic video made by a service we do not run: BytePlus (ByteDance) for doubles built since 25 September 2026, Higgsfield for doubles built before then. The privacy policy says which applies to you and what each one keeps.
- Only yourself. You may build a double only of yourself. You must be the person on camera during the face check and the capture, and you may use only your own voice. Do not try to build a double of anyone else, or to get around the face check or the liveness check.
- The face check. A double built through BytePlus starts with BytePlus's own real-person check, on a page it serves inside the app, under BytePlus's terms for that page. You authorise Getconvi Technologies Private Limited, which holds our BytePlus account, to use the result to make your videos. Your clip is held in our BytePlus account and deleted when you delete your double.
- Training and retention. BytePlus's terms say it does not use what it is sent to train its models without our authorisation, which we have not given. A double built through Higgsfield is different: by building one you accepted that Higgsfield may use your clip and your reels to train its models under its own terms, training cannot be undone, and we cannot delete Higgsfield's copies. The app told you which applied before you recorded.
- Identify generated video. Generated exports carry a signed reel record. The app lets you turn off the visible AI label only when its embedded Content Credentials check passes; otherwise the visible label is kept. Use the app’s export controls, preserve embedded provenance, and do not strip or obscure disclosures to mislead people. Do not present generated video as real footage. See the Trust Center.
- What reels may not contain. Do not make reels that are sexual, that involve a minor, that impersonate or deceive, that defame or harass anyone, that promote violence, or that break the law. Do not use reels for fraud, scams, political deception or fake endorsements.
- You are responsible for the words you give your double, for the show audio you choose to have performed, and for where you share a reel. Only use show audio you have the right to use.
- Renders can fail, be refused by the render service's own content filters, or take several minutes. The app shows the price before you confirm. A render that fails is not charged. A render is charged once, when it finishes.
Studio managed video service
crushedwithit Studio is a separately quoted managed production service. Its monthly packages and editor-hour caps are shown on the Studio page. App Store subscriptions and reloads are separate. Before payment, the written scope confirms the selected plan, deliverables, format, language, schedule, applicable taxes, payment, cancellation and unused-allowance terms. Sending an enquiry does not start a subscription or authorise a charge.
Editor-hour allowances cover initial editing and revisions. Account-manager coordination is included on Authority and Signature. Extra editor hours, changes to approved scripts, new concepts, extra language or format versions and additional AI renders require an agreed scope and quote before work. Views, followers, leads or business results are not guaranteed.
Client responsibility. You are responsible for the factual accuracy of your content, claims and advice; the rights and permissions for any assets or source material you supply; and compliance with the laws, professional rules, advertising and disclosure requirements, and platform policies applicable to you and your content. You must review and approve each script and finished video before publication, and arrange any specialist review you need. Studio's production support does not include legal, medical, financial or regulatory review.
Only your own verified likeness may be used. Our consent checks, AI-disclosure requirements and restrictions on deceptive, abusive or unlawful content continue to apply. Client responsibility does not remove obligations that apply directly to us. Studio includes human review and online production services; material handling is agreed before onboarding. See Studio privacy information and the Trust Center.
Private Mic
- A Private Mic link lets anyone who has it watch one of your labelled reels and send reactions. You decide who gets the link and you are responsible for sharing it. It expires after 7 days, and you can take it down sooner.
- You can have up to 5 links live at a time. We may take any link down, without notice, if it breaks these terms or the law, or if someone reports it.
- To report a video that shows you without consent or is abusive or unlawful, use the Report this video link on its page, or email sachin@getconvi.com with the link. We review reports and take down videos that break these terms.
Media you add
Media terms, version 2, 12 October 2026
Media is where the app keeps the pictures, videos and sounds you add for your reels. Before your first upload you agree to these Media terms; when they change, the app asks again before your next upload.
- Only add what you made, or what you have permission to use in videos you post. Each time you add a file you confirm this for that file.
- Don't add other people's faces or voices, or music you don't hold the rights to. Your own face, body and voice are added as your looks, which are checked against your double. The app refuses a picture or video with a person in it, and a sound with someone talking or singing in it. Music is added only when you confirm you hold the rights to it.
- We keep a record of what you confirmed for each file, and we remove files when a rights holder shows us they're theirs. The record says what you confirmed, when, and under which version of these terms.
- What you allow us to do. You keep your rights in what you add. You allow us to store each file and its thumbnail, to check each file, including for Content Credentials, and to send it to our video partner when a reel you make uses it, or when you ask for a look preview with it, and for nothing else.
- Taking files down. If you hold the rights to something added to crushedwithit without permission, email sachin@getconvi.com with what it is and where it was used. We remove the file, keep a record of the complaint and of what was confirmed for that file for three years, even if the person who added it deletes everything, and tell that person by a notification on their devices. If an account keeps adding files it has no right to use, or in a serious case, we switch off adding to Media for that account; the files it already has are not affected.
- We do not review what you add. You are responsible for having the rights to it and for where you share the reels made with it.
- How long files are kept. Until you delete them, or delete everything. If your plan with reels ends, your uploads and promotion pictures are deleted 12 months later; the app warns you first, and you can save them before then.
Posting to LinkedIn and Instagram
- You connect your own LinkedIn or Instagram account, on that platform's own page. You can disconnect it at any time in You › Channels.
- You choose what is posted and when. We publish only what you post or schedule.
- You are responsible for what you post, and for following the platform's own terms.
- Posting to Instagram is coming soon for the App Store version of the app.
Acceptable use
Do not use crushedwithit to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to record people where that is not allowed, or to harass anyone. Do not try to get around plan limits, the price shown for a render, App Attest or purchase checks. Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service. Do not resell access to it.
What the numbers mean
Scores, laugh timings, heckle and silence markers and every other measurement in the app are estimates, made on your device from what the microphone heard. They help you look at a show; they are not a record of it. We publish no accuracy figures and make no promise about them.
Suspension and ending
- You can stop using crushedwithit at any time. Cancel your subscription in Apple's settings, and use Delete everything or delete the app to remove your data.
- We may suspend or end your access to the online features if you break these terms or if the law requires it. That includes writing help, reels, your double, Private Mic and hosted links. Where we can, we will tell you why through the app. Material on your device stays yours and stays usable.
- We may change, pause or stop an online feature. If we stop the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app where we can. Refunds for unused subscription time or reload credit are handled by Apple.
Availability and liability
The app is provided as is. The parts that run on your device keep working without us. The online features depend on services we do not control, such as Cloudflare, Anthropic, BytePlus, Higgsfield and Apple, and may be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters, the date at the top changes and the app's What's New will say so. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
