One person makes this app. Write to him.
sachin@getconvi.com. Say which device and system version you are on, and what you tapped. A screenshot helps. If your version of the app shows a support code in the You tab, include it: it lets us find your records without your name. Replies usually come within a day.
Plans and purchases
Restore purchases
If a device does not show your plan, open You › See the plans and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the plans screen. Sign in with the Apple Account you bought with. One subscription covers your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
Manage, change or cancel the subscription
In the app, go to You › Manage subscription. Or on iPhone or iPad, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions › crushedwithit, and on a Mac, go to App Store › your name › Account Settings › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancelling keeps everything you have made usable on your devices.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds for every purchase. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What is a reload?
A reload is a one-off purchase that adds credits when your month's balance runs out. Credits cover writing help and reels alike. Reload credit never expires. It is spent only after the month's balance, oldest first. Your balance and a line for every charge are in the wallet in the app.
The app says I am out of credits
Your month's balance is used up. Everything you have made stays yours and editable. Add a reload, upgrade, or wait for the reset date shown on the card.
Your data
Delete everything
Go to You › Delete everything. It asks you to save a copy first. Then it removes your material from this device, your iCloud and our server, and takes down your Show Report links. It does not cancel your subscription. It gives up any unspent reload credit, and shows you the amount first. It also takes down your Private Mic links. The privacy policy lists exactly what goes and what does not.
Does the app record without me knowing?
No. The microphone runs only on the screens that say so, with the system's recording indicator on. Show recordings and voice notes stay on your device and in your private iCloud. When you choose a video feature, your double’s reference clip, your approved voice samples or the trimmed seconds of a show you select may be sent to the video partner. The app names the service and asks before sending. BytePlus also receives data directly through its live face-check page. In the app, Settings › Privacy lists every path audio can take.
Reels and Private Mic
Report a video
If a Private Mic link shows you without your consent, or shows something abusive or unlawful, tap Report this video on its page, or email sachin@getconvi.com with the link. We can take any link down. Generated exports include signed provenance, and may show an AI label and reel code. Include the code if it is visible. The Trust Center also explains content, privacy and security reporting.
Take down my own Private Mic link
Open the link's page in the Library and tap Take it down. It stops working within a minute, from any of your devices. Links expire on their own after 7 days.
A reel is taking a long time
A reel takes about 4 to 10 minutes to render. You can leave the app; it tells you when the reel is ready. A render that fails is not charged.
Writing and recording
A voice note came back with no words
The card says which transcriber it used and which language it was listening for. If your language's on-device model is not installed yet, the card offers to download it. Your audio is always kept, so you can play it back and type the premise in.
The set is "writing" for a long time
A full set is written two bits at a time, and each batch can take a minute or two. The card shows the reply arriving. If it stops, Carry on writing picks up from the last saved batch. Nothing already saved is written twice.
There is no Stage mode on my Mac
That is by design. The Mac is the writing room. Stage mode and live show recording run on your iPhone or iPad, which is what goes on stage with you.
